chapter 2

In the second chapter of Chinese Cinderella Adeline talks a lot about her step mother as her dad remarries another woman, her family are forced to call their stepmother Niang which means another Chinese term for a mother. Niang is apparently very beautiful and attractive with long, thick, shiny, wavy black hair. As Adeline continues with school she gets smart learning the alphabet and topping every one in the class.
